What is rotorthon

EUROPEAN ROTORS talent event ROTORTHON covers all potential aspects of the technologies and roles of VTOLs. Examples are concepts for the next generations of VTOLs, public acceptance of urban mobility, support on disaster relief or joint use of drones and rotorcraft for the same mission. The concepts delivered by the teams shall not be exact case studies or deep technical analysis but bring in a new vision for challenges of future mobility and VTOL operations. The jury, consisting of EASA, EHA and the godfathers of ROTORTHON, led by AIRBUS, will rate the idea itself, the presentation and the defending of the concept.

About european rotors

The one an only European Event for the VTOL Comunity

EUROPEAN ROTORS - The VTOL show and safety conference is the one and only European event for the VTOL community. The debut in 2021 was a great success: More than 160 exhibitors, visitors from 36 nations, over 65 accredited journalists and several world and European premieres showed the high demand of the industry to meet again in person and to shape the restart after the global pandemic.  The European Helicopter Association (EHA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) have teamed up to create an exceptional showcase for the European VTOL branch: Industry, operators and the regulator are coming together and discussing the future of vertical flight. EUROPEAN ROTORS is the unique platform for the industry driven by the leading OEMs to do business and - at the same time – to share knowledge in a comprehensive educational programme.

Join us for the second edition of EUROPEAN ROTORS from the 8th to 10th November 2022 at Cologne Exhibition Centre North, Hall 8, in Cologne, Germany.

We look forward to seeing you there.
